12 Members in the Big 10?
What if instead of the Big 10 adding 1 school they added more? How about expanding to 24 schools? You could have 4 divisions. The Big 24 South could be Texas,Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas and Kansas State. The Big 24 West could be Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Northwestern and Colorado. The Big 24 North could be Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Louisville, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Big 24 East could be Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Maryland. In football they could use the schedule idea from the NFL. Play teams in you're division and one other division every four years. Just think Texas could play Ohio State once every four years. You could have the four division winners play in a playoff type system with a championship game in December. Cities like Chicago, Denver or Dallas could bid for the championship game like the Superbowl. Think of all that money the Big 24 Network would make being in more cities. Teams could play 11 conference games and one out of conference game every year. Just thinking outside the box a little. Tell me what you think and any ideas you might have. Thank You.
