Toddlers and art..............?

Hey there its so wonderful to see children doing art at home!!! Im a group leader at a long day care centre and was in the nursery b4 i fell pregnant and we had our babies doing art. You can start at any age make sure everything u get him is non toxic because they always end up in the mouth after i was in the nursery i moved into the 2-3yrs room and they still put everything in their mouths b positive and tell him its not ok to eat them that's not what they r for.. It will take a while for him to learn but he will get it.. Most things should come of the walls so u should b ok there. No they are not too young for pain it helps them develop fine motor and sensory skills which is very important. He will want to touch it and possibly taste it etc but u will find that he will love these types of activities. Just remember always look for the non toxic products.
