Is he telling the truth?

Okay, so i met this guy named Cody. We started talking&we became friends. My friends Brianna&Faith both have a crush on him too. They hang out with him more than i do...they seem to have something to talk about with him. Then one day i sent him this fwd, he asked me out. I said yes..then he started ignoring me at school acted as if it never happened. But he kept telling people we were dating, then one day a guy asked him if he was dating me he said no. Recently Brianna told me that he said we WERE dating. [Confusing, right?] Well if we are dating we dont act like we are..we barely talk at school. But we text non-stop. On friday he texted me saying ''Goodnight baby'' so now im his baby? [Wtf. haha:p] yesterday Brianna called me she said that she heard that Cody was using me, that he never liked me..but i just dont believe it, but then again i cant be sure. Today he texted me saying That Brianna is a lying ***** and that i shouldnt believe her.. when i asked why he said that he wouldnt tell me. Im sure its about what Brianna said... Sorry for making you read a lot..but should i believe him? Do you think he's telling the truth or not? :/
