Can we get out of our lease in Utah if roaches were not in it, but were known and found in the rental?
Yes you can We had legal issues with the last rental we were in because a whole section of wall was moldy an weatherrotted an the landlord tried to blame it on us..but you should first contact the Health Dept. or a Health Inspector...thats what we did an he deemed the house uninhabitable so we then sent him a certified letter an asked for our 1-last an security deposit back.....of course he said no an told us to get out in 10 days...........we then went to the magistrate's office an got a stay of 90 days without having to pay the old geizer anything! Then we took him to small claim's court sued for 1-last,security deposit an medical bill's from mold exposure over a 2 yr period.........we were awarded 5000$ an now live somewhere else.
