I put bleach in a styrofoam cup with a part of a tshirt and it got really warm. What caused that?

Does bleach react with styrofoam and produce heat? Or is there something I'm missing? I tried looking it up online (Searching for everything: styrofoam and bleach, polystyrene and chlorine, etc.) but couldn't find anything.
